2011 Ms. Black Texas USA Pageant
The Ms. Black Texas USA Pageant weekend will be November 12-14, 2010, in Houston, Texas at the Hilton Houston Southwest.
Beautiful women from across the state of Texas will convene on one stage to compete for the title of Ms. Black Texas USA 2011.The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award!
2011 Ms. Black Texas USA Pageant Eligibility Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age and not older than 40.
- You can be single or married.
- You must be a natural born female.
- You must be a United States citizen and live in the United States.
- You must be a natural born female.
- You must be in excellent physical and mental health.
2011 Ms. Black Texas USA Texas Pageant Judging Criteria
The competition is divided into five categories: Preliminary Interview, Personal Fitness, Talent, Evening Gown, and Question and Answer. The judges are looking for the best contestant overall.
- Personal Interview: 15%- Articulation, Composure, Overall response
- Personal Fitness: 15% - Stage Presentation, Overall Appearance, Body Condition, Sports Wear Selection
- Talent: 35% - Artistic Expression, Technical Skill, Stage Presence, Professionalism, and Overall Performance
- Evening Gown: 15% - Style, Poise, Grace, Professionalism, and Overall Presentation
- Question and Answer: 20% - Ability to think Fast, Articulation, Composure, and Overall Response
2011 Ms. Black Texas USA Pageant Areas of Competition
The Director's Award
All contestants must participate in the Director's Award which is an award given for community service, leadership and fundraising efforts. The participant who has the best overall effort will be awarded the Director's Award. Each contestant will complete a leadership project and a community service project.
Miss Cover Girl
All contestants must sell at least one full page ad for the Ms. Black Texas USA Souvenir Book by October 1, 2010. The participant who sales the most ads for the Ms. Black Texas USA souvenir book will be featured on the inside cover.
Miss Hospitality
All contestants will sell at least 5 tickets for the pageant preliminary and final show. The participant who sales the most presale tickets will be honored as Miss Hospitality.
Miss Photogenic
All contestants will submit a photo to Ms. Black Texas USA. The contestant who has the most beautiful photo will be honored as Miss Photogenic.
Miss Congeniality
All contestants should be friendly and kind. The participant who is voted as the most friendly and helpful will be honored as Miss Congeniality.

- Complimentary DVD of the Miss Black Texas USA Preliminary and Final Show from Bringing Down the House Productions

- Traditional Miss Black Texas USA Crown and Sash
- All contestants will receive a membership to the Texas Tiara Dreams Club.
- Texas Tiara Dreams Club members will not have to pay Entry Fees to any future Miss Black Texas USA Pageants.
